What we believe is probably and usually wrong !

Common Sense and Public Opinion are not always right. Great Philosophers have taught us that an idea shared by billions of people doesn't have to be right.. Billions or Trillions of people, or 99% of people may believe what is wrong, like in primitive societes or tribes.

A black woman was hustled out of the facility by the cops. The woman was punished because of the vile action of a White Right Winger.

The African-American woman at the center of this, Maxine Johnson, showed up late at the town hall meeting. She arrived with company and sat down in the auditorium. The Rosa Parks sign was rolled up and placed on a nearby seat.

Was the Parks' poster offensive? Did it come close to the inflammatory signs of the right - you know Obama-as-Hitler etc? Not even close. The poster showed Rosa Parks along with the caption "First Lady of Civil Rights."

Elie Gardner, a photojournalist with the St Louis Post-Dispatch, is seen on video asking about the Parks poster. As this interchange is underway, a man described in some reports as a 'teabagger' - ID'd as James Winfrey of Cedar Hills, MO - crossed the aisle, grabbed Ms Johnson's sign in an aggressive manner. He then proceeded to rip it before flinging it to the floor.

This uncalled for act of vandalism drew the attention of others present in the hall. The cops appeared and ironically enough it was Ms Johnson who was hustled out of the building to the sound of cheers and applause.

Why did the cops pick on a black woman who just had her property unlawfully seized and trashed? James Winfrey had no right to grab the sign, let alone destroy it.

Moreover since signs - reportedly against the rules - were at the center of the altercation, how come cops are seen on the video doing nothing to stop white members of the audience who were waving yellow "Don't Tread On Me" signs- the graphic with the coiled snake?

Some pundits have asked what a Rosa Parks poster has to do with health reform anyway. The answer is... more than you might think. The town hall meetings have been used as a convenient platform for haters and fear-mongers to stage deeply partisan attacks against the Obama administration under cover as 'concerned citizens.'

Representative James Clyburn (D-S.C.) has compared some town hall free-for-alls with "horrid anti-civil rights demonstrations." Clyburn knows whereof he speaks. He was a civil rights leader who experienced the struggle first hand.

"I was insulted that [the security guards] were all on me, and this guy basically walked out the door," said Johnson, who claims that other participants had signs with the N-word on them. "It was clearly racial," she says. "If I were a white person, this would not have happened."

For some Racists ( the worst criminals, murderers or perpetrators ) it is very common to have suffered Family Dysfunctionality, like Domestic Violence against the Woman and the kids..... Or the fifth lover of the Mother kicking the children.

Failure of the Mother to love the child is very grave..... Being bullied in school, torturing animals during childhood and adolescence, fixation with dead animals like dogs and cats that have perished in a street or highway.

Deep inferiority complexes of which the subject is unware ... Deep inadequacies .... Self inflicted shortcomings .... Failures in Business, Job, Sex and Love .... Failed Lives and Drug addictions are common in Racist Fever, but not always !!

Failure to relate to Women, totally 100% or partially ... Some Racists, Madmen or Mass Murderers are married but in an abusive or dominat relation with the Woman.

This theory of mine is very limited and only covers SOME of the cases ....

Hitler Youth or the SA of the Nazi Party are harder to explain. SA is the Sturm Abteilung ( Department of Attack ) and in its beginnings could have had some noble purpose of Defending Germany from Collapse, Communist Revolution, Total Mutinity, Chaos and Disorder ....

Probably only later the SA became Racist under Hitler and Goebbels that was also a Great Madman.

Erich From has the theories of the Automatons, that are excellent to apply to the Nazis .... And Theodor Adorno and Max Hockenheimer saw this abusive and racist personality as contaminated with Archetypes of Fear, Nightmares, Devils, Demons, The uncanny or Ungeheim is an excellent explanation of Racism and Hate.

But how can we explain Rich People or "Successful" People in Racism.

Glenn Beck had a very dysfunctional childhood. The Father abandoned the Children, the Mother commited suicide.

Timothy McVeigh shows many characteristics that I usually find when studying Racist Criminals and Murderers. However it is hard or impossible to show Tim as a Racist or Hater of Minorities. Tim was very intelligent for computers, for subjects at school, but he was very mentally perturbed from adolescence.

Tim was surrounded by Racist and Supremacist Haters and by their literature, but curiously, it is very difficult to prove that Tim was a Racist. Only one or two small actions would point to Racism. He was not obsessed by Blacks, Latinos or Immigrants. ( That was not the time ).

Tim seems more intelligent that the average racist ( good student ) and extremely obsessed with weapons and military actions. He suffered from this extreme obsession that perhaps left no room for Big Racism. He also was the victim of Horrible Military Scenes in the Gulf War, that was a trauma.

"The American Dream of the middle class has all but disappeared, substituted with people struggling just to buy next week's groceries." ( Tim in 1992 )... This sounds like today's speech but was written by Timothy, discharged GI writing his hometown newspaper in Lockport, New York, during the winter of 1992. This working-class young man would later blow up the Alfred P. Murray Federal Building in Oklahoma City, killing 168 people ( 19 children among them )

McVeigh was born into an Irish Catholic family in Lockport, New York, and raised in nearby Pendleton. His parents, Mildred Noreen "Mickey" Hill and William McVeigh, divorced when he was ten years old.

McVeigh said he was often bullied at school, and that he took refuge in a fantasy world in which he retaliated against them; he would say later that the United States Government was the ultimate bully. McVeigh was quiet, and was said to have had one girlfriend during his childhood. He would later tell journalists that he did not know how to impress girls. According to his authorized biography, "his only sustaining relief from his unsatisfied sex drive was his even stronger desire to die."

McVeigh earned his high school diploma from Starpoint Central High School. While in high school he became interested in computers, and he hacked into government computer systems on his Commodore 64, under the handle "The Wanderer," which was borrowed from the song by Dion DiMucci. Political beliefs
McVeigh was known throughout his life as a loner; his only known affiliations were voter registration with the Republican Party when he lived in New York, and a membership in the National Rifle Association while in the military.

In May 1988, McVeigh enlisted in the U.S. Army. Michel and Herbeck comment on the process he went through as a recruit:

“ During dawn runs and their long, exhausting marches over the Georgia sand, their sound-offs revolved around killing and mutilating the enemy, or violent sex with women. ”

He had little interest in the bar scene, preferring to use his spare time to read about guns, sniper tactics, or explosives. He once ordered a "White Power" T-shirt from the Ku Klux Klan in protest against black servicemen who wore "Black Power" T-shirts around his army camp.

The long hours in a dead-end job, the feeling that he did not have a home, and his failure to establish a relationship with a woman brought McVeigh to the breaking point. He sought romance, but was rejected by his co-worker Andrea Peters, and still felt nervous around women. He felt he brought too much pain to his loved ones. He grew angry and frustrated at his difficulties acquiring a girlfriend, and took up obsessive gambling. Unable to pay back gambling debts, he took a cash advance and then stiffed the credit card company.

In 1993, he drove to Waco, Texas during the Waco Massacre to show his support. At the scene, he distributed pro-gun rights literature and bumper stickers, such as "When guns are outlawed, I will become an outlaw." He told a student reporter:

“ The government is afraid of the guns people have because they have to have control of the people at all times. Once you take away the guns, you can do anything to the people. You give them an inch and they take a mile. I believe we are slowly turning into a socialist government. The government is continually growing bigger and more powerful, and the people need to prepare to defend themselves against government control.

For the five months following the Waco debacle, McVeigh worked at gun shows and handed out free cards printed up with Lon Horiuchi's name and address, "in the hope that somebody in the Patriot movement would assassinate the sharpshooter." He wrote hate mail to the sniper, suggesting that "what goes around, comes around," and later considered putting aside his plan to target the Murrah Building to instead target Horiuchi, or a member of Horiuchi's family

McVeigh later said he considered "a campaign of individual assassination," with "eligible" targets including Attorney-General Janet Reno, Judge Walter S. Smith Jr. of Federal District Court, who handled the Branch Davidian trial, and Lon Horiuchi, a member of the FBI hostage-rescue team who shot and killed Vicki Weaver in a standoff at a remote cabin at Ruby Ridge, Idaho, in 1992. He said he wanted Reno to accept "full responsibility in deed, not just words." However, such an assassination seemed too difficult, and he decided that since federal agents had become soldiers, it was necessary to strike against them at their command centers

McVeigh did not express remorse for the deaths of the children, what he referred to as "collateral damage", but said he might have chosen a different target if he had known the day care center was open. According to Michel and Herbeck, McVeigh claimed not to have known there was a day care center in the Murrah Building, and said that if he had known it, in his own words:

“ It might have given me pause to switch targets. That's a large amount of collateral damage. ”

Michel and Herbeck quote McVeigh, with whom they spoke for some 75 hours, on his attitude to the victims:

“ To these people in Oklahoma who have lost a loved one, I'm sorry but it happens every day. You're not the first mother to lose a kid, or the first grandparent to lose a grandson or a granddaughter. It happens every day, somewhere in the world. I'm not going to go into that courtroom, curl into a fetal ball, and cry just because the victims want me to do that.

McVeigh maintained an upbeat attitude, noting that even after his execution, the score would still be "168 to 1" and thus he was the victor. He also said:

“ I am sorry these people had to lose their lives. But that's the nature of the beast. It's understood going in what the human toll will be.

McVeigh frequently quoted and alluded to the white supremacist novel The Turner Diaries. It described acts of terrorism similar to the one he carried out. While McVeigh openly rejected the book's racism (a roommate said that McVeigh was not a racist and was basically indifferent to racist matters), he claimed to appreciate its interest in firearms. Photocopies of pages sixty-one and sixty-two of The Turner Diaries were found in an envelope inside McVeigh's car. These pages depicted a fictitious mortar attack upon the U.S. Capitol in Washington

In interviews before his execution, documented in American Terrorist, McVeigh stated he decapitated an Iraqi soldier with cannon fire on his first day in the war and celebrated. But he said he later was shocked to be ordered to execute surrendering prisoners, and to see carnage on the road leaving Kuwait City after U.S. troops routed the Iraqi army.

Movie is a Great Treasure and "Documentary" of a time and mood. It is Great Cinematography and will grow with time. I reject those reviews that call the movie "simplistic" ... Kristen, a naive White girl from the Suburbia, who gets a rude awakening at school, the Girl falls in with a fraternity crowd, this rather dim Southern California beauty launches her college career by getting drunk and date-raped, she is raped by a bastard from the White Fraternity.

Remy, a social misfit White youngster from Idaho who feels threatened by all the minorities he's confronted with for the first time. Remy is very insecure, a loser and failure and he is easy prey for the Nazi Skinheads to use him as a stooge and agent for doing foolish racist things.

Remy is the most tragic character, a loser, his insecurity makes him unable to relate to the other Races or Ethnics and he falls to be manipulated by the Nazi Madmen. Psychologically, this is the most interesting character in the movie, and shows why some youngsters may be easy prey for Racism.

Everybody loses in this movie, but Remy is the worst loser, the most tragic person, he loses his life, he wasn't probably as bad as the other Nazi Skinheads, but he was their stooge.

Hanged Census Worker Bill Sparkman Was a "Naive" School Teacher

MANCHESTER, Ky. (CBS/AP) Bill Sparkman, the census worker and substitute teacher who was found hanged in rural Kentucky on Sept. 12 with the word "fed" scrawled into his chest, was described by those who knew him as an "innocent" person who always saw the good in others.

Gilbert Acciardo, a retired trooper who directs an after-school program at the elementary school where Sparkman worked, said he became suspicious and went to police when Bill Sparkman didn't show up for work for two days. Authorities immediately investigated, he said.

"He was such an innocent person," Acciardo said. "I hate to say that he was naive, but he saw the world as all good, and there's a lot of bad in the world."

Apparently Bill Sparkman found some of it. Police will not say how the word "fed" was scrawled into his chest or whether it was done before or after he was murdered. They did tell his mother Henrie Sparkman that the body should be cremated.

Bill Sparkman had worked for the Census since 2003 in five counties in the surrounding area, conducting interviews once or twice a month. Much of his recent work had been in Clay County, officials said.

Time put Beck on its cover this week. Man of the Year may not be far behind. Beck is not, as many liberals assume, merely the latest incarnation of Rush Limbaugh. He is something different. That’s why he is gaining on his antecedents — and gaining traction in the country’s angrier precincts.

Though Beck’s daily Fox News show is in the sleepy slot of 5 p.m., his ratings are increasingly neck and neck with the prime-time tag team of Bill O’Reilly and Sean Hannity, and he has beaten them in the prized 25-to-54 demographic. It’s not just because he is younger (45). This self-described “rodeo clown,” who wells up with tears for dramatic effect, doesn’t come across as cranky or pompous, like Limbaugh and O’Reilly. A fervent Mormon convert and proselytizer, he is untainted by association with the old Dobson-Robertson-Reed religious right. Unlike Limbaugh, he bonds with his fallible listeners by openly and repeatedly owning up to his own mistakes, including his history of drug and alcohol abuse. Unlike Hannity, he is not a Republican apparatchik.

Beck has notoriously defamed Obama as a “racist,” but the race card is just one in his deck. His ideology, if it can be called that, mixes idolatrous Ayn Rand libertarianism with bumper-sticker slogans about “freedom,” self-help homilies and lunatic conspiracy theories. (He fanned Internet rumors that FEMA was establishing concentration camps before tardily beating a retreat.) It’s the same crazy-quilt cosmology that could be found in last weekend’s Washington protest, where the marchers variously called Obama a fascist, a communist and a socialist, likening him to Hitler, Stalin, Castro and Pol Pot. They may not know that some of these libels are mutually exclusive. But what they do know is that they need a scapegoat for what ails them, and there is no one handier than a liberal, all-powerful president (who just happens to be black).

Beck captures this crowd’s common emotional denominator — with appropriately overheated capital letters — in his best-selling book portraying himself as a latter-day Tom Paine, “Glenn Beck’s Common Sense.” Americans “know that SOMETHING JUST DOESN’T FEEL RIGHT,” he writes, “but they don’t know how to describe it or, more importantly, how to stop it.” This is right-wing populism in the classic American style, as inchoate and paranoid as that hawked by Father Coughlin during the Great Depression and George Wallace in the late 1960s. Wallace is most remembered for his racism, but he, like Beck, also played on the class and cultural resentment of those sharing his view that there wasn’t “a dime’s worth of difference” between the two parties.

Now, as then, a Dixie-oriented movement like this won’t remotely capture the White House. Now, unlike then, it is a catastrophe for the Republicans. The old G.O.P. Southern strategy is gone with the wind. The more the party is identified with nasty name-calling, freak-show protestors, immigrant-bashing (the proximate cause of Wilson’s outburst at Obama) and, yes, racism, the faster it will commit demographic suicide as America becomes ever younger and more diverse.

Jimmy Carter has always been one to speak bluntly – irritatingly so, to some of his critics. Even at 84, the former president continues to show his willingness to raise the most indelicate topics, often at the most inopportune time. This time, the topic is race and, more specifically, the racism that underlies some of the ugliest, most vociferous criticism of President Obama.

"I think people that are guilty of that kind of personal attack against Obama have been influenced to a major degree by the belief that he should not be president because he happens to be African-American," Carter said.

Carter's remarks were like throwing a dead cat into the middle of the dinner table. Obama in interviews broadcast today says race is not a factor, while other democrats disavowed the former president. Republicans cried foul. But perhaps most disturbing in all this is that it looks like Carter is right.

Ten months after Americans poured into the streets to celebrate the historic election of the first black president, the racists, white supremacists and old-school segregationists are feeling emboldened. As Obama's poll numbers have fallen from stratospheric highs, and as criticism has grown over his health reform plan and economic policies, so, too, have the bigots felt more comfortable coming out of the woods.

One did not have to look too hard at the 12 September anti-Obama rally in Washington – an overwhelmingly white, largely rural crowd – to see the sea of Confederate flags, a symbol of "heritage" to some southern whites and a symbol of racist oppression to blacks. Or the racially laden signs, such as "The zoo has an African lion – the White House has a lyin' African." Others held signs that demanded Obama be sent "back to Kenya".

Republicans have been openly feeding off of race hatred since the days of Dick Nixon. Today’s conservative activists are carrying that banner proudly. What does anybody think is going on when, as Anderson Cooper pointed out on CNN, one of the leaders of the so-called tea party movement, Mark Williams, refers to the president of the United States as an Indonesian Muslim turned welfare thug, and a racist in chief.

After all these years of race-baiting and stirring the pot of hatred for political gain, it’s too much to ask the leaders of the Republican Party to step forward and denounce this spreading stain of reprehensible conduct. Republicans are trying to ride that dependable steed of bigotry back to power.

But it’s time for other Americans, of whatever persuasion, to take a stand, to say we’re better than this. They should do it because it’s right. But also because we’ve seen so many times what can happen when this garbage gets out of control.

Think about the Oklahoma City bombing, and the assassinations of King and the Kennedys. On Nov. 22, 1963, as they were preparing to fly to Dallas, a hotbed of political insanity, President Kennedy said to Mrs. Kennedy: “We’re heading into nut country today.”

So six millions Jews died in Europe because of lies and there are also lies today, not only Pat.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's statement that the Holocaust was "a myth" is "totally unacceptable", the Russian foreign ministry said in a statement ( of course, Russia doesn't want anything with the stench of Hitler and Nazis )

So it is very sad what happened to poor Poland invaded by the powerful Wehrmacht and the PanzerDivisionen and fighting with all underfed horses and swords against the armored vehicles.

The aging General Erich Ludendorff was for a time a strong supporter of the early rise of Adolf Hitler and Nazi Germany. After learning of Hitler's appointment as Chancellor, he expressed his disappointment to German President Paul von Hindenburg: "By appointing Hitler Chancellor of the Reich, you have handed over our sacred German Fatherland to one of the greatest demagogues of all time. I prophesy to you this evil man will plunge our Reich into the abyss and will inflict immeasurable woe on our nation. Future generations will curse you in your grave for this action."

Lies are like flies that go to excrements to be fed with more nourishment and that contaminate what is sacred and beautiful in the kitchen.

Lies can only be defeated by Intelligence and Racionality ... Racists have been losing power inch by inch, millimeter by millimeter, Racism has a lot to do with Inferiority Complexes, inadequacies, being a failure in sex, love and business, being a loser, etc ... Jimmy Carter is a son of the South. Not the New South of relocated corporate headquarters and (foreclosed) McMansions, but Jim Crow’s South. So we’ll all have to excuse his refusal to act like he doesn’t hear Glenn Beck’s vicious dog whistle. He knows too well the coded language of political racism because he witnessed its writing.

America abhors history. No wonder, given how many national crimes are lurking back there. But we’ve arrived at a time when a politician’s refusal to consider the past is a perverse testament to prudent leadership. And as a result, a statement as obvious as Carter’s—that the tea-baggers hate President Barack Obama because he’s black—can be passed off as controversy in 2009.

It’s self-evident that a movement that calls the president a lying, socialist, Nazi eugenicist with a fake birth certificate is about something more than deficit spending. People don’t brandish automatic weapons and pray for the president’s death because they want to keep their employer-sponsored health plans. But to name the stalking beast is more than we can bear.

Not, thankfully, for Carter. He knows the tea-baggers aren’t new, that their fear of “big government” is but the latest version of states’ rights, which was itself a pseudonym for white supremacy. And he wants us to recall this history: In the months following the 1954 Brown ruling, a Mississippi college football star and plantation manager named Robert Patterson launched a crusade to protect school children from “being taught the Communist theme of all races and mongrelization.” Patterson was angry, and proud of it. “You say this is not the time for hotheads and flag-waving,” he wrote in a public letter quoted in Gene Roberts’ and Hank Klibanoff’s must-read history of civil rights journalism. “We need those hotheads, just as we always have when our liberty has been threatened.”

Yes, It's Racism...but it's Complicated

In that sense, Barack Obama is the apotheosis of all they fear. He is a child of what used to be called miscegenation--a mixed marriage. His father was a Muslim, his mother was sort of a hippy. She raised him in Hawaii, which is just barely American and in Indonesia (which is very suspicious). He is a liberal (even if a prohibitively moderate one). Worse, he's a completely urban sort. There is nothing resembling a log cabin in his background. We've had elite Presidents--the Roosevelts, the Bushes--but we have never really had an urban one. (New York Governor Al Smith, Tammany Hall's finest, was trounced in 1928--the last pure urban candidate.) This sort of populist paranoia is disgraceful, but as American as apple pie. The appropriately-named Know-Nothing Party of the 1840s was anti-immigrant. The Republican Party has pursued an implicitly racist "southern strategy" since the late 1960s.

But there is a reason why Barack Obama has tried to lowball the race issue since he arrived on the public scene: it is divisive, in a reprehensible way. If everything he does is seen through the prism of race, if he becomes a "black" President, he loses--the furriners may be overrunning the country, but we're still majority white. He does not want to be perceived as a minority President either racially or numerically. And he's right: we have more important business to transact right now.

Finally, I should say that the things that scare the teabaggers--the renewed sense of public purpose and government activism, the burgeoning racial diversity, urbanity and cosmopolitanism--are among the things I find most precious and exhilarating about this country. And even though the teabaggers' pinched , paranoid sensibilities are now being stoked by Boss Rush and the leaders of the Republican party, I take comfort in this: the racists and nativists have always been with us, and they have always lost. They will lose this time, too.

Broadcasters get hundreds of billions of dollars' worth of subsidies and the right to use our airwaves in exchange for a basic commitment to be responsive to the interests of local communities.

Moreover, the Supreme Court recognized that "safeguarding the public's right to receive a diversity of views and information over the airwaves is ... an integral component of the FCC's mission."

Sadly, the FCC has failed to live up to this standard. And what mainstream media's fear-merchants are most afraid of is not censorship, but an FCC that actually does its job -- creating more opportunities for people like you and me to participate in media.

We don't have that now. Washington bureaucrats have allowed powerful media corporations to control the public airwaves and dominate local cable networks. We have reached a nadir where the free press that Thomas Jefferson hoped would open "all the avenues to truth" has devolved into a media system that's a megaphone for the few.

Beck and Limbaugh, in particular, are two corporate welfare babies who owe much of their existence to this regulatory failure, which handed control of our airwaves to massive conglomerates like Clear Channel and ABC Radio to broadcast their fear agenda via a syndicated network of centrally owned radio stations.

The cable sector that carries Beck and Dobbs' nightly paranoia is itself a gigantic bundle of government handouts, having built invaluable local monopolies via granted rights-of-way that beam these two into nearly every den in America.

Try calculating what it would cost to get your content across America without a local or federal government clearing your path, and you quickly realize that blowhards like Beck, Dobbs and Limbaugh are three of the nation's biggest beneficiaries of public largesse.

And while they're raking in millions in salaries via their government-granted fiefdoms, you, the owner of the airwaves and roads and telephone poles over which they transmit, are getting nothing in exchange.

The ultimate irony of Beck, Dobbs and Limbaugh is that they couch in populist rhetoric a message that, in its very essence, is anti-populist -- designed to protect the swindle at the core of our media system's failure.

The Army-McCarthy Hearings were a series of hearings held by the United States Senate's Subcommittee on Investigations between March 1954 and June 1954. The hearings were held for the purpose of investigating conflicting accusations between the U.S. Army and Senator Joseph R. McCarthy. The Army accused McCarthy and his chief counsel, Roy Cohn, of pressuring the Army to give preferential treatment to G. David Schine, who was a former McCarthy aide and a friend of Cohn's. McCarthy counter-charged that this accusation was made in bad faith, in retaliation for his recent aggressive investigations of suspected Communists and security risks in the Army.

Chaired by Senator Karl Mundt, the hearings were convened on March 16, 1954, with witnesses appearing from April 22, 1954 until June 17, 1954. The hearings received considerable press coverage, including live television broadcasts, and are widely believed to have contributed to McCarthy's decline in popularity.

"Radio Priest" Father Charles Coughlin became increasingly controversial and anti-Semitic in the 1930s before the Church silenced his broadcasts. He initially supported Roosevelt's New Deal but quickly turned against it. Coughlin had various monetary theories that were common in that era and opposed the Federal Reserve.

An alliance began to form between Coughlin's Social Justice movement, the California-based pensionite movement of Dr. Francis Townsend, and Louisiana Senator Huey Long's Share-the-Wealth movement. It appeared that the combined groups would run Long on a third-party campaign that Roosevelt feared would undermine his re-election. As it turned out, after the assassination of Long, the combined movement had no one to run. It ultimately ran an obscure congressman for president in 1936 who received a negligible vote. At the time this newsreel was made, however, all of that was yet to come. Because of the economic distress during the Great Depression, such movements attracted large followings.

Many people complain that Mr Obama seems very weak before his enemies, that he seems very detached from Reality, that he lacks certain strength of Franklin Delano Roosevelt, or Lyndon Baines Johnson ... These two mentioned presidents were the main architects of Social Legislation in U. S. Twentieth Century History.

They had many powerful enemies in their times ( Republicans and Rich Corporations ) but they showed Great Strength and Force of Character.

Perhaps the people that fear that Mr Obama is a Little Sissy to be beaten up by the Republican Bullies are wrong.

To analyze the personality of Mr Obama, we have first to understand the he is half "Black" and half "White" ... we should paint ourselves with these two colors before wearing Obama's shoes.

The condition of being the "Weird", "Foreigner", "Stranger" and "Other" in a Hawaian School and later in the U. S. Continent has to have an impact on Obama's Soul. This has to produce a reserved and interior personality, more introverted than extroverted, in order to survive or to improve his standing in every situation.

We can not expect Mr Obama to be a buoyant Teddy Roosevelt, or a Franklin Roosevlet from Money and Society Nobility .... Or a Big Texan like Lyndon Johnson. ... Obama comes from the World of Underdogs.

That requires "Survival by Shrewdness", "Quiet endurance of harsh conditions", etc .... be quiet and avoid useless revenge for small nuissances.

So Obama is an occult and hidden personality, but "Filth that doesn't kill you makes you stronger", so Obama may have become stronger with all the Dirt and Filth of Society.

Every new king, ruler or president has to be very prudent when he reaches the throne.

It is reported that Caligula and Nero were welcomed as very Human, Civilized, Kind and Polite, during the first years of their Emperorships.

Obama is not a Caligula or Nero, not even a Tiberius. Obama has little in common with Julius Caesar ( a scion of the Julian Nobility ) but Obama may have an ounce of Augustus ( Diplomacy, Politics ) a gram of Trajan ( Great Builder ) and a pound of Claudius ( Shrewdenss, Intellect, Understanding )

"Felicitor Augusto, melior Traiano" was a ritual formula to greet the Roman Emperors when they arrived to a new city. "Be luckier than Augustus and better than Trajan"...

Be more happy and lucky that Augustus and build more good things for the Empire than Trajan.

Mr Obama may have hidden strengths and reserves of Psychological Strength.

He may be "Quiet "Waters" : in many countries there are rivers and lakes of incredible danger, because they may have hidden currents, whirls, spins, fast rotations that are not apparent in the surface.

So the expression "Quiet Waters" may mean "Hidden Dangers", and as applied to a person, it may mean that under a Quiet and Tranquil personality there are hidden currents of energy and strength to face enemies.

That Mr Obama seems very "Republican" in Afghanistan and other policies, may be buying time to gain strength or to study a situation. ( Perhaps he is not a strong believer in some of his temporary policies )....

Mr Obama is Professorial, Rational, Reasonable, Intelligent, Shrewd, Calculator, Cold, Historian, Bookish and Librarian Like, but he may have a hidden maelstrom of energy and strength.

This sort of lunatic paranoia—touched with populism, nativism, racism, and anti-intellectualism—has long been a feature of the fringe, especially during times of economic bewilderment. What is different now is the evolution of a new political organism, with paranoia as its animating principle. The town-meeting shouters may be the organism’s hands and feet, but its heart—also, Heaven help us, its brain—is a “conservative” media alliance built around talk radio and cable television, especially Fox News.

The protesters do not look to politicians for leadership. They look to niche media figures like Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Michael Savage, and their scores of clones behind local and national microphones. Because these figures have no responsibilities, they cannot disappoint. Their sneers may be false and hateful—they all routinely liken the President and the “Democrat Party” to murderous totalitarians—but they are employed by large, nominally respectable corporations and supported by national advertisers, lending them a considerable measure of institutional prestige.

I have been watching a series about Henry VIII, it is a Super Great TV Series "The Tudors", Elegance, Brilliance, the most Beautiful Women, Beautiful Palaces and Gardens.

I am astonished at how wicked the human heart can be .... The King Henry VIII was a sex monster, however he seemed to believe deeply in his Personal Religion ( Catholicism without the Pope ) and enjoyed burning the Protestants, even if he was Heretical Number One.

The people that surrounded Henry VIII couldn't be more despicable in their sycophancy and fawning over the despot. Women were deceived into believing that having the King as a lover was a boon, a blessing, a good fortune. Men aspired to power and riches by being close to the Madman King ..... But sometimes they lost their heads in the Tower of London.

The People that we despise could be our best friends and even have the solution to our problems. ( Inside their DNA, or inside their brains, or because of the Excellent Will to Work and be our friends ). It is a better idea to be tolerant and not an idiot of Intolerance and Hate.

This is not the first time that the World sees "Helter Skelter" .... Let's remember Charles Manson preaching that there was going to be a Racial War ( initiated by him ) with millions dead, and that he would control the Victors with his Great Supernatural Powers and Super Intelligence.

And now Joe Wilson.

“A good many people in South Carolina really reject the notion that we’re part of the union,” said Don Fowler, the former Democratic Party chief who teaches politics at the University of South Carolina. He observed that when slavery was destroyed by outside forces and segregation was undone by civil rights leaders and Congress, it bred xenophobia.

“We have a lot of people who really think that the world’s against us,” Fowler said, “so when things don’t happen the way we like them to, we blame outsiders.” He said a state legislator not long ago tried to pass a bill to nullify any federal legislation with which South Carolinians didn’t agree. Shades of John C. Calhoun!

It may be President Obama’s very air of elegance and erudition that raises hackles in some. “My father used to say to me, ‘Boy, don’t get above your raising,’ ” Fowler said. “Some people are prejudiced anyway, and then they look at his education and mannerisms and get more angry at him.”

Clyburn had a warning for Obama advisers who want to forgive Wilson, ignore the ignorant outbursts and move on: “They’re going to have to develop ways in this White House to deal with things and not let them fester out there. Otherwise, they’ll see numbers moving in the wrong direction.”

I think that we're blaming the wrong person here, guys. Beck IS all the things being said about him here, and more, but he's doing what is expected of him from his followers.

We can't blame him, really. His followers are the problem. He would have no audience for his rhetoric if there weren't already so many out there with deep-seated bias in their hearts. Glenn is doing nothing more than legitimizing their bigotry for them by giving them a group to belong to. The only other group they could join with the same outlook and principles is the KKK, and that can get your ostracized, fired, or worse.

First, before occupying myself with poor Glenn Beck I want to comment on Joe Wilson's insult to president Obama. This Republican Representative yelled "You Lie" to the President.

For me this insult to Obama was Racist, as Racists are the birthers, and those that paint a Hitler Moustache to Obama's Photo.

And Racists are the guys that don't want the President to speak to Children to tell them to be nice and study hard for a good future.

And Racists are the guys that say that Obama is Communist and dangerous against Liberties. Or that Obama is going to confiscate all guns and rifles.

They are pathetic in their hatred and fear .... they are poor, or ignorant or failed in life ... they are losers and want to blame Mr Obama for their lack of success in Love, Sex, Business, etc ...

That is the Mechanics of Racism. Even rich guys like Glenn Beck have a horrible past.

Glenn's father abandoned him, Glenn's mother committed suicide when he was a child, Glenn was alcoholic and used pleasure drugs. Later he became a Mormon, intimate friend of God and weeper wrapped up in the flag.

We should be weeping for Glenn Beck instead of attacking him for being a fool without brains. We didn't have his sufferings and traumas. Now he is very rich, but he is perturbed.

Seriously, we may be poor or sick or have bad luck in business, we may be not millionaires, but we didn't suffer from lack of love in our childhood.

We may be unemployed and stop eating the best Beef Steaks, but at least we knew caring love in childhood, and we want to give love to others, instead of perturbing the beehives of Hatred and Fear.

For at least two years, his political opponents – including Democratic opponents during the primary – have attempted to portray Barack Obama as “not one of us.” He has been, at various times, referred to as communist/socialist/Marxist, elitist, corrupt, a terrorist sympathizer, foreign-born, a thug, fascist and even racist. In short, he is everything that we believe America is not. He is not “one of us.” He is “other.”

It is no surprise, then, that some parents felt it dangerous to let this stranger talk to their children on Tuesday, and it is no surprise that at least one member of Congress believed that it was appropriate to hurl an insult at him during a formal address. Keeping in mind that there is a small but vocal group of Americans and conservative leaders who continue to perpetuate the story that Obama is not a legitimate president because of his birth status, perhaps we should not be surprised that this president, then, does not command even the most minimal level of respect from some of his elected political opponents.

By and large, Whites in America go out of their way to excuse such behavior as being impolite or unfortunate, but not at all related to race. If one believes that the threshold of what is to be considered to be “racist” is that an epithet must be hurled (e.g., if Wilson would have yelled, “You lying nigger!”), it is comfortable to believe that in a “post-racial” nation, such behavior is divorced from the nation's rich history of oppression and White supremacy.

Some of the folks who make racist appeals may be aware that they are doing so, but others very well may not. Irrespective of intent, however, we must be aware that a context of “otherness” has been established around this president that set the stage for him to be treated differently than other presidents this week, first by the parents of schoolchildren and then by a member of Congress.

Mr Obama is going to give a speech to Congress on Health Care this evening.

To compare the situation to a "Hail Mary" may be fun but it is irresponsible. Mr Obama is a cerebral and rational man, a professorial type of politician, he will find ways and paths out of many difficult situations. It is not just fun that Mr Obama has been compared to "Felix, the Cat" and his bag of tricks.

We haven't seen the full extent of his mental gifts and possibilities.

The problem of Health Care has deep impact in America's Economy and should not be a Football to kick with Hate, Partisanship, Racism, etc ...

Health Care needs reform and the worst policy is to make it a sport of irresponsibility.

I would love if Mr Obama acts decisively and takes a strong stance. He doesn't need the applause and love of everybody. He has a majority and he was elected to do things and not to please everybody and his aunt.

Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa Tuesday named a new director of youth development and gang reduction. KPCC’s Frank Stoltze reports.

Frank Stoltze: The mayor introduced Guillermo Cespedes in the ornate Tom Bradley Room that sits atop City Hall on the 27th floor. The room provides a view of the some of the tough neighborhoods to the south and east where Cespedes will do his work leading the city’s gang prevention and intervention programs.

Guillermo Cespedes: I have a very simplistic view of what we're doing in these neighborhoods, which is basically we are trying to humanize the person with a badge and we're trying to humanize the person with the tattoo. If we can accomplish that, I think violence goes down.

Stoltze: Fifty-nine-year-old Cespedes is no stranger to the work. The mayor credits him as the architect of the highly regarded Summer Night Lights program. It keeps parks open late and hires at risk young people to mentor peers from their surrounding neighborhoods during the summer.

Cespedes: The work that intervention workers do in the community differs radically from African-American neighborhoods and Latino neighborhoods. Ya know, sometimes, I think we get a little bit cautious about looking at ethnic differences.

Stoltze: Cespedes says it’s important to respect those differences, and to recognize the history Latinos and African-Americans share. He’s taught on the subject at Cal State Dominguez Hills.

Two main components are apparent in the Europeans' genome, presumably corresponding to the contributions of the first, Paleolithic Europeans, and of the early, Neolithic farmers dispersing from the Near East. In addition, only a small fraction of the European alleles seems to come from North Africa, and a fourth component reflecting gene flow from Northern Asia is largely restricted to the northeast of the continent. The estimated Near Eastern contribution decreases as one moves from east to west, in agreement with the predictions of a model in which (Neolithic) immigrants from the Near East contributed a large share of the alleles in the genome of current Europeans.

Recent analyses of human diversity have reached different conclusions on the origin of the European gene pool. There is general agreement that genes coming from anatomically archaic people, the Neandertal people, represent either an extremely small fraction of the contemporary genome or none at all (Krings et al. 2000, Relethford 2001; Caramelli et al. 2003; Stringer 2003). Archaeological data show that the first anatomically modern Europeans entered from the Near East in Paleolithic times, 45,000 years ago or less (Otte 2000), and lived in different parts of the continent until the end of the last glaciation. They also show that another large-scale expansion from the Near East accompanied the spread of the technologies for food production in Neolithic times, between 10,000 and 5,000 years ago (Zvelebil 1986; Pinhasi, Foley, and Mirazòn Lahr 2000). However, the relative contribution of Paleolithic hunting-gathering and Neolithic farming ancestors to the genome of current Europeans cannot be easily inferred or quantified from archaeological data.

Most studies based on nuclear protein (Menozzi, Piazza, and Cavalli-Sforza 1978; Sokal, Oden, and Wilson 1991; Cavalli-Sforza, Menozzi, and Piazza 1993; Barbujani et al. 1994) and DNA (Chikhi et al. 1998; Barbujani and Bertorelle 2001) polymorphisms, including the Y chromosome (Rosser et al. 2000; Chikhi et al. 2002), suggest that the Neolithic spread of farming entailed a large-scale population replacement, also termed demic diffusion (Ammerman and Cavalli-Sforza 1984). The main genetic evidence for Neolithic dispersal from the Near East is represented by the broad genetic gradients affecting many loci over much of Europe (Menozzi, Piazza, and Cavalli-Sforza 1978; Cavalli-Sforza, Menozzi, and Piazza 1993).

On the other hand, 75% or so of the current mitochondrial and Y-chromosome European lineages can be traced back to ancestral lineages that originated in Paleolithic times. Some interpreted this finding as evidence that 75% of the ancestors of current Europeans were already in Europe in Paleolithic times, before the Neolithic transition (Richards et al. 1996, 2002; Macaulay et al. 1999; Semino et al. 2000; Torroni et al. 2001). A single percentage value for all of Europe is not very informative, because populations are likely to differ in their history and genetic composition, as allele-frequency gradients (Menozzi, Piazza, and Cavalli-Sforza 1978; Sokal, Oden, and Wilson 1991; Cavalli-Sforza, Menozzi, and Piazza 1993; Barbujani et al. 1994) clearly suggest. However, the question remains whether the ancestors of the current Europeans were mostly local Paleolithic hunters and gatherers (hereafter: Paleolithic model, or PM), or mostly Neolithic farmers who dwelt out of Europe until comparatively recent times (hereafter: Neolithic model, or NM).

As misguided young men have engaged in violent attacks on Latino immigrants in Suffolk County, N.Y., some local politicians on the sidelines have been playing the role of cheerleaders. Far from acting as peacemakers, they have fed the atmosphere of hostility with rhetorical attacks of their own.

County Executive Steve Levy isn't the only public official engaging in the verbal immigrant-bashing, or the most extreme. But he is the highest-ranking, and since he was elected to his first term in November 2003 after promising a crackdown on illegal immigrants, Levy has been acting like the enabler-in-chief.

Soon after taking office, Levy proposed that Suffolk County police officers be empowered to detain Latinos solely on suspicion of being undocumented immigrants and turn them over to federal authorities for deportation. Most of the present-day European males with the M343 marker also have the P25 and M269 markers. These markers define the R1b1b2 subclade.

This subgroup is believed by some to have existed before the last Ice Age and has been associated with the Aurignacian culture. Archeological evidence supports the view of the arrival of Aurignacian culture to Anatolia from Europe during the Upper Paleolithic rather than from the Iranian plateau.

Although the precise route of the M269 marker is not known, it is theorized to have originated in Central Asia/South Central Siberia. It could have entered prehistoric Europe from the area of Ukraine/Belarus or Central Asia (Kazakhstan) via the coasts of the Black Sea and the Baltic Sea. It is considered widespread in Europe throughout the Paleolithic already before the last Ice Age.

Traditionally this culture is associated with the Cro-Magnon people, the first modern humans to enter Europe. However, this view has recently been challenged.

The people of the Aurignacian culture were the first documented human artists, making sophisticated cave paintings. Famous sites include Lascaux in France, Altamira in Spain and Valley of Foz Côa in Portugal (the largest open-air site in Europe).

The glaciation of the ice age intensified, and the continent became increasingly uninhabitable. The genetic diversity narrowed through founder effects and population bottlenecks, as the population became limited to a few coastal refugia in Southern Europe. The present-day population of R1b in Western Europe are believed to be the descendants of a refugium in the Iberian Peninsula (Portugal and Spain), where the R1b1b2 haplogroup may have achieved genetic homogeneity. As conditions eased with the Allerød Oscillation in about 12,000 BC, descendants of this group migrated and eventually recolonised all of Western Europe, leading to the dominant position of R1b in variant degrees from Iberia to Scandinavia, so evident in haplogroup maps.
