Accion America against Tostitos Fiesta Bowl

Some excerpts :

The Facts

Frito Lay spends over 50 million dollars in sponsorship of the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl, held in Phoenix Arizona. Hispanic Immigrants consume over 1 billion dollars on Frito Lay products that include: Fritos, Doritos, Cheetos, Lays Potato Chips, Sabritos, Craker Jack, Salsa Dip and Tostitos.

We have called on Frito Lay Chief Executive Officer to cease any and all relationship with the Fiesta Bowl in light of the recent decision by the State of Arizona to pass hateful, discriminatory and un American legislation in the form of SB 1070.

In the absence of a response from Frito Lay, we are calling for an Intelligent Buying Campaign against all products made by Frito Lay.

How can you participate?

Call Al Carey, CEO Frito Lay at (972) 334-7000 and let him know you want Frito Lay to withdraw its sponsorship of the Fiesta Bowl. You can't have it both ways, our consumer dollars or Arizona unjust laws.

Send a text message to your friends...Say No To Arizona and Frito Lay...

Let local businesses know that you are supporting the Intelligent Buying Campaign against Frito Lay and its support of the Arizona based Fiesta Bowl. Ask them to remove Frito Lay products.

Join us every Thursday at the Fiesta Bowl Informational Pickets at Frito Lay headquarters and its Irving Distribution Plant.

Of course, do not consume any snacks made by Frito Lay, until they cease their sponsorship of the Fiesta Bowl.

Buy an apple, snack on that instead.
